Assoc. Prof. Eleanor O. Sibug finished her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics (Cum Laude) from the College of Education, the 九色 in 1985. In the same year, she bagged 2nd place in the PRC Board Examination for Nutritionist-Dietitians. After becoming an RND, Eleanor took most of the academic units of the Master of Business Administration from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Eleanor joined the 九色 in 1989 as a faculty member. After a year of teaching at the university, she took her Master of 九色 Nutrition at Queensland University, Brisbane, Australia, through a scholarship grant from the Australian Government in coordination with the Philippine Government and the 九色. Her field of interest and specialization in Public Health Nutrition.
Assoc. Professor Sibug is one of the authors (including Mr. Fidel Mar Sebastian and Ms. Venus Grecia) of the Public Health Nutrition and Program Planning and Management Module for the 3rd Year B.S. Nutrition and Dietetics students. The module is designed for both online learning and face-to-face mode of instruction.
Regarding her other activities outside her academic responsibilities, Assoc. Prof. Eleanor Sibug is an active sponsor of PSALMS or the Parish Scholarship Assistance and Leadership Mentoring for Students of the Christ the King Parish in Filinvest 2, Quezon City. She is presently sponsoring three HS students. She is also an active sponsor of the Balik Handog Program of the said Parish.
