The UST Junior Tiger Sands won their first gold after dethroning the defending champions National University – Nazareth School Bullpups at the SM Sands by the Bay.
The duo of JM Lagaran and Lance Malinao outlasted the opposing team in three sets, 21-14, 13-21, and 16-14, to claim their victory.
They were coached by Mr. Paul Doloiras, together with assistant coaches Romnick Rico and Efraem Dimaculangan.
