GS Law inks MoA with University of Batangas – College of Law for Master of Laws Program

The UST Graduate School of Law (GS Law) inked ties with the University of Batangas (UB) – College of Law in a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement for the Master of Laws Program on March 25, 2025.

This partnership will pave the way for UB faculty members and alumni, including lawyers based in Batangas, and nearby provinces, to pursue their Master of Laws studies offered by GS Law online.

UST GS Law Dean Atty. Jacqueline O. Lopez-Kaw, DCL, underscored that strengthening partnerships with UB reaffirmed GS Law’s unwavering commitment to nurturing generations of legal scholars, advocates, and leaders.

“This partnership between our esteemed institutions serves as a vital conduit for equipping our students with the intellectual and professional competencies necessary to navigate and shape the legal profession of tomorrow.” Dean Kaw said.

The event was graced and witnessed by Dean Kaw, GS Law Regent Rev. Fr. Dexter A. Austria, O.P., SThD, UB President Emeritus Dr. Hernando B. Perez, UB President Lily Marlene J. Hernandez-Bohn, UB Vice President Alex A. Ramos, UB College of Law Dean Atty. Hernando S. Perez, Jr., Associate Dean Atty. Edna C. Del Rosario, UST GSLaw and UB College of Law alumna Judge Charito Macalintal-Sawali, DCL , Dr. Lolita F. Tegon, Dr. Ma. Annabelle I. Tenorio, and Atty. Sonny Jose M. Ricablanca.
